Steele, an overly proud dog who is admired by the other canines in Nome, delights in making fun of Balto, who is half dog and half wolf.

Meanwhile, Balto has fallen in love with Jenna, a beautiful Husky, and he attempts to win her over by proving his bravery. The perfect opportunity arises when he sets out to find a rescue team that disappeared while trying to deliver an antitoxin to the young victims of a diphtheria epidemic. Assisting Balto on his journey are his buddies -- the twin polar bears Muk and Luk, and a wisecracking goose named Boris.

Based on the true story of a dogsled team that delivered a cure to Alaskan diphtheria victims during the winter of 1925, "Balto" offers perfect entertainment for all ages.
The lovable wolf dog Balto is back in this story which picks up where the original left
off. Balto is now the father of six beautiful pups, five of which look like their mother
Jenna, but the sixth, a spunky gray coat named Aleu looks even more like a wolf than her father. When it comes time for the puppies to be adopted Aleu is the only one that does not find a family willing to take her home. Because they cannot bring themselves to tell their daughter the truth, Balto and Jenna raise her on their own in an old boat at the edge of town. When a terrible accident causes Balto to have to tell her the truth, she runs away trying to find her place in the world. A great adventure ensues in the Pacific Northwest.

When an airplane stands to take over the sled dogs' route, a race is called to prove who is truly fastest -- the plane or the dogs -- and Balton is set to join the team alongside his son. Meanwhile, Boris must handle a visiting female goose with an amorous eye.
